Beautiful Manicures with the Gel-X Kit
Here’s a quick, step-by-step guide for how to use the Aprés Gel-X Extension Kit to create a beautiful, healthy manicure:
- Select a Gel-X tip that is properly sized to your natural nail. Then, use an e-file to rough up the underside of the tip, creating texture so that the tip will adhere properly to the natural nail.
- After cleaning your natural nail, apply pH Bonder to the natural nail.
- Then, apply Non-Acidic Gel Primer to the natural nail.
- Next, apply Extend Gel to the natural nail and cure in the X-Lite LED Light for 30 seconds.
- Now, apply Extend Gel to the inside of the underside of the Gel-X tip.
- Apply the Gel-X tip at a 45 degree angle to the base of the natural nail and gently press down and forward until the Extend Gel reaches the free edge of the natural nail.
- Cure the nail with the X-Lite LED Light for 30 seconds.
- Use the Grit Emery Board to shape up the nails to your liking.
- Finally, apply Gel Nail Color and let your nail artistry shine!
